About the event
Lumina is an Italian comic book project written and illustrated by Linda Cavallini and Emanuele Tenderini. Innovative in many ways: it was the first Italian project, from 2013 to 2023, to be developed through crowdfunding; a comic accompanied by an original soundtrack; printed using cutting-edge technologies (multi-chromatic printing and high resolution); and exhibited at the Triennale di Milano as a contemporary art object due to its emphasis on research and development.
All of this is told, directly through the voices of its creators and those who helped bring it to life, in an exclusive documentary directed by Daniele Pauletto — featuring: Linda Cavallini and Emanuele Tenderini, the creators of the project; Remo Baldi, composer of the soundtrack; and Giancarlo Migliavacca, technical director of printing.
One hour of behind-the-scenes footage on the development of a project that marked 10 years of the Italian independent comic book scene.
Along with the documentary, the books are presented in their most prestigious edition, along with two CDs of the Original Soundtrack.
Free entry, bookings not required.
