Get Involved
The Adelaide Italian Festival isn't run by one organisation in one venue. It's built by the community, for the community, which means there's a place in it for your business, venue, or group.
If you're a restaurant, retailer, arts organisation, community club, or any business with something Italian-inspired to offer, you can apply to be part of the official festival program. You run your own event your way. We provide the platform, the promotion, and the credibility that comes with being part of one of Adelaide's most loved cultural celebrations.
How the program works
The festival operates across two tiers. Our board produces a small number of signature events: the street party, Long Lunch, La Grande Gita, and the Festival Mass. These are events we co-plan, co-manage, and take full responsibility for.
Everything else in the program is community-led. Operators (restaurants, venues, clubs, community groups, retailers) apply to run their own events under the festival umbrella. You manage your own event and finances; we list you in the official program and promote you through our channels.
What's in it for you
Keep all ticket revenue
You set the price, you keep the money.
Festival credibility
Official backing adds prestige and broader reach.
Low participation costs
A small application fee, no hidden extras.
Free promotion
Listed in the official program and the AIF website.
Full creative control
Run your event the way you want to.
This is a genuine partnership model. We're not your event manager; we're your platform. The more operators who bring their best ideas, the richer the festival becomes for everyone.
Expressions of interest
Applications to join the 2026 program will open shortly. When they do, you'll receive a guidelines pack that covers the festival pillars and spirit, how to align your event with the program themes, and practical information on timelines, logistics, and what AIF provides.
The pillars are designed to inspire, not to restrict. The best community-led events are those that are unmistakably yours, and unmistakably part of the festival.
